A day on the water with Minnesota Muskie Madness offers excitement, anticipation and sometimes frustration, but always a good time. Our guides are out to show you a fun, safe learning experience for the novice, and some hot fishing spots and a quick net for the seasoned anglers.
The lakes we fish in Minnesota have
proven to produce the largest of
big game fish with a variety of scenery, from the islands of Vermilion, the crystal clear waters of Deer and Moose Lake (in Itasca County) the massive body of water on Mille Lacs to the hidden urban wonder of Lake Minnetonka .
With over 35 years experience on the water, Dan Solem and Lee Lane are professional Muskie fisherman, fishing the 2006 Minnesota Muskie Tournament trail, coming in first place, for the Vermilion Tournament, sixth place at the Minnetonka Championship and 4th place finish for Anglers of the Year.
While we specialize in Muskies, we also enjoy fishing for other game fish including: Walleye, Northern Pike, Lake Trout, Large and Small mouth Bass and Crappies.
Lee and Dan are serious about Muskie conservation and preserving the legacy of the Minnesota Muskie and our lakes, by practicing only (Muskie) catch and release. We will have a digital camera in the boat to capture your catch.
